Center for Global Education

Fox Glacier, Tai Poutini National Park, New Zealand

The Center for Global Education (CGE) is the hub for intercultural activity at Providence College. PC is proud to rank as one of the top U.S. colleges in global learning, with nearly 60% of our students participating in off-campus study.

Our portfolio of programs includes semester-long programs, academic year-long programs, faculty-led programs, domestic study away, and other intercultural learning opportunities. Our study abroad programs challenge students to address complex global issues in an increasingly interconnected world while continuing to work towards completing their degree. Students will be able to discover new cultures, learn new languages, gain practical work experiences through internship or business consulting placements, develop their own identity in a new global context, and much more!

In the spirit of our new strategic plan, PC200, the CGE develops and supports diverse programming that champions accessibility. We encourage all members of the Friar Family to explore our website, engage with our social media, or visit us in Harkins 215 to learn more about study abroad opportunities.
