What did the opportunity to study abroad mean to you as a Providence College student?

Studying abroad gave me the chance to deeply reflect on myself, my values, my interests, and my role in life. It challenged me in many different ways through various miniscule and significant obstacles. It gave me a totally different perspective on life and globalization. It was an opportunity to see, live, and experience a diverse society that I would not have gotten in a Western nation.
