The Center for Global Education (CGE) is very happy that your student is interested in studying abroad during their time at Providence College.

CGE will host Zoom meetings for study abroad parents/guardians. Please register for the Zoom meeting that is relevant to your student. Registered parents/guardians will receive Zoom links via email at approximately 6:30 PM in advance of the meetings scheduled at 7:00 PM on Sept 29 and Oct 6.

Class of 2028 Parents/Guardians Study Abroad Zoom Session – Sept 29

CGE will host an info session for parents/guardians whose student will be studying abroad in the spring 2027 semester on Tuesday, September 29 at 7:00 PM. Staff from CGE will provide details related to next steps in the process and set expectations between now and departure and while students are abroad in the spring.

Class of 2029 Parents/Guardians Study Abroad Zoom Session – Oct 6

CGE will host an additional info session for parents/guardians whose student will be applying to study abroad during the 2027-2028 academic year on Tuesday, October 6 at 7:00 PM. Staff from the CGE will provide details regarding the study abroad application process and important information related to billing and academics/student life abroad.

For prospective study abroad students, there is a lot of information that both students and families should know surrounding the study abroad process. For parents and families of students who are soon to be studying abroad, please note that it is important that your student regularly checks their email and communicates to you the information they receive from both the Center for Global Education and their respective study abroad program.
