Faculty Leaders

CIV in London is facilitated by two faculty members from Providence College. Each faculty member brings a variety of knowledge and experience to the program. Please see below to learn more about the faculty leaders for Spring 2026.

Jeff Johnson, Ph.D.
Professor of History and Director of Graduate History Program

Jeff Johnson is a historian and member of the PC faculty since 2009. His books focus on the history of labor, radical politics, and reform. At PC, he teaches U.S. History, DWC, American Studies, and Public History. Johnson grew up in the American West and has traveled to 50 countries. London remains one of his favorite cities in the world, and he can’t wait to make the city his classroom.
