DIS Copenhagen

This program allows students to boost their resume by consulting with businesses and presenting solutions on real-life cases. It also provides an opportunity for students to learn how best to articulate their enhanced cross-cultural leadership skills with DIS career workshops on international internships, resume building, and interviewing skills; as well as network with local professionals at the DIS Career Night. Finally, students will travel with DIS faculty on course-integrated Study Tours to meet with leaders and decision makers in key business clusters, using their insights to build their projects.

Students will enroll in the three-credit Entrepreneurship Practicum, a three-credit core course (typically either Innovation and Entrepreneurship or International Business) and three additional elective courses. The Entrepreneurship Practicum fulfills the internship/experiential learning requirement.

The Entrepreneurship Practicum enables students to work individually or in teams in a consultative capacity with entrepreneurs from Danish start-ups to solve a current business challenge that the respective entrepreneurs are facing. Past practicum sites have included working with start-up communities in fashion and design, web and mobile applications, hardware and smart devices, services, payment and finance, meet up organizations, and more.

Note: In order to determine whether a particular course will be offered, you will need to look at the course catalog for the past fall and spring semesters if the future courses are not listed yet. The courses below have been taken by previous students, but are not guaranteed to be offered during future semesters. Students and advisors should verify all PC equivalencies by using the Course Articulation Database, which has more current data than the static table below.
